Spirituals Songs : Spiritual songs were used to encourage them and help them escape.
Harriet Tubman : Harriet Tubman was a slave when she was little she helped thousands of slave escape. After that she was a wanted person dead or alive.
A spiritual song Lyrics : Wade through the water is the lyrics of a slave song i pick because when you wade through the water no one will know you where you go even dogs can't sniff you because if a slave escape the master guard used dog to sniff them out cause dogs have a good sense of smell but not in water but if a slave is found that means dead of slave.
