Woman International Day

 History

-International woman Days came about due to several historical events. It is the representative culmination of both the long public struggle for women's rights and the more private struggle waged every day by woman who have made the celebration of this day possible.

Over the years, International Woman's Day has taken to the streets, sparked off a revolution, met cosily at luncheons and concerts, rubbed shoulders with Premiers, Prime Minister and Mayors, demonstrated at the doors of newspaper and welfare institutions, occupied empty houses intent on gaining shelter for homeless woman and has ushered in reform legislation.

Inequality

- Inequality between men and women results in lost opportunities and prevents mutual gain. In general discrimination.

Diverts resources from women's activities, sometimes in favour less productive investment.

Rewards men, but also some woman, blinding them to productive alternatives

Obstructs social as well as economic participation and closes off possible partnership.

Reduces woman's effectiveness by failing to support then in their responsibilities, challenges and burdens.

Wng

In our Wananga we learn about The Guest house, and define what guest house is. So after we learn about the guest house you have to think about yourself what is a guest house meaning. If you imagine yourself being a guest house, you have to think what has visit your guest house. So every morning we have to think which guest has visited our guest house. Well my wananga teacher disappointed and disrespectful has visited her guest house ever since we started learning about the guest house she is always disappointed almost like every time. After we've done the guest house we have to think about 3 things that we are grateful for. Almost every student in our class are grateful because of their parent without them they wouldn't be there right now and they are grateful because they are alive and the teacher. That all I can write about my Wananga.😁😁😁🔥
